1. The service
PakEngine Rent Ledger is a local-first web application for recording car rental showroom operations. It runs in your browser and stores your data on your device. We provide the software; we do not operate your showroom or hold your records.
2. Free trial
New installs receive a 3-day free trial with every feature enabled. The trial begins when you first open your dashboard. When it ends, the app is locked until a valid licence key is entered. Trial data remains on your device and is available again once you upgrade.
3. Licence and payment
The licence is 4,000 PKR per calendar month, or 40,000 PKR per year, for one showroom, covering unlimited vehicles, rentals and staff devices. Payment is made by bank transfer with your Showroom ID as the reference. An activation key tied to that Showroom ID is issued once the transfer is confirmed: a monthly key is valid for the calendar month it is issued for, and an annual key is valid for twelve consecutive months from its start month. There is no auto-renewal; you repeat the transfer at the end of the period to continue. Part-period use is not pro-rated or refunded.
4. Your responsibilities
- Keep your own backups with Export Fleet Backup. We cannot recover data from your device.
- Use the software lawfully and keep accurate records for your own business and tax obligations.
- Do not resell, sublicense or redistribute the software or licence keys.
5. Availability and changes
The app is delivered as static files over third-party infrastructure. We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. Features may be added, changed or removed between versions. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by the date above.
6. Limitation of liability
PakEngine is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, business interruption or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the software. Because your data lives only on your device, protecting it with regular backups is essential and remains your responsibility. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the licence fees you paid in the month the claim arose.
