PakEngine Rent Ledger (“PakEngine”, “we”) is a local-first web application. This policy explains what data the application handles and where it is kept.
1. Data stored on your device
Everything you enter is written only to your browser’s local storage on the device you are using: showroom name and contact number, vehicle records, rental and return logs, damage notes, revenue figures, and your licence key. It is never transmitted to PakEngine or to any server we operate. We keep no database and have no ability to read your records.
2. Your Showroom ID
On first use the application generates a random Showroom ID (for example PES-XXXXXX) and stores it locally alongside a structured record that pairs the ID with the contact number you register. This record exists so that, when you choose to upgrade, you can quote the ID with your bank transfer. It is held on your device and is shared only if you send it to us yourself.
3. Third-party content delivery networks
To render the interface, the page loads styling, icon, and font files from Cloudflare, jsDelivr, and Google Fonts. When your browser requests those files, the providers receive standard request metadata such as your IP address and browser user-agent. PakEngine sets no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and runs no third-party trackers or session recording.
4. Payments
Upgrades are completed by direct bank transfer that you initiate with your own bank. PakEngine does not collect or process card or account details through the application.
5. Deleting your data
You can export a full backup at any time from Settings. Clearing your browser’s site data for pakengine.com permanently removes every record. Because the data lives only on your device, this cannot be undone and we cannot recover it for you.
